Who we are

Taybl is a restaurant directory for Accra, at bookataybl.com. It is a project of Analysis People Ltd (M1), which is the data controller for this site. This notice explains what we measure when you visit, and the choices you have. If you have a question, write to us at bookataybl@gmail.com.

What we collect

We collect anonymous, aggregated information about how the site is used: the pages and restaurants you view, the searches you run, the buttons you tap, your device and browser type, and the town or city your visit comes from. We do not ask for, or store, your name, email address or phone number through our analytics. We want to know which listings are useful, not who you are.

The tools we use

  • Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, for visitor numbers and site speed. These set no cookies and hold no personal data, so they run on every visit.
  • Google Analytics, for traffic, journeys and conversions. This uses cookies, so it runs only if you accept.
  • Microsoft Clarity, for anonymous heatmaps and session replays that show where the site is confusing. Typed input is masked. This also runs only if you accept.
  • Google Search Console, which reports how the site appears in Google Search. It sees no information about your visit.

Cookies and your choice

When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after you accept. If you decline, they never load, and the site works exactly the same. The cookieless tools above run either way, because they hold no personal data. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Leaving the site

When you tap Message on WhatsApp, Visit website, or See on Instagram, you leave Taybl for that service, and its own privacy terms apply from that point.

Sharing and your rights

We do not sell your data. The tools above are run for us by Google, Microsoft and Vercel as our processors. Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what we hold and to object to processing. To exercise any right, write to bookataybl@gmail.com.
